While sitting on the toilet, I came up with a scene about an elderly man on his last day of life who meets a young woman in a pub and tells her his story of wandering around the unknown parts of a world. I put that thought into the form of a poem called The Man Who Travelled the World.
I viewed it as a poem, but as I was writing it out, I was thinking along a lyrical sense, as I was singing it in my head. I’m quite pleased with it, as I didn’t put much thought into the words initially, and even then gave it a bit of touching-up before uploading it to the web site. I quite enjoyed it, you may too.
